Olivia Amante is an ocean engineer who specializes in numerical modeling for the coastal environment. Olivia attended the University of Rhode Island where she got a BS in Ocean Engineering and a BS Marine Biology. She went on to get her MS at the University of Delaware in Ocean Engineering.

As a Rhode Island native, changes in the coastline have always fascinated her. For the past 5 year she has been preforming morphological and hydrodynamic response modeling to hurricanes and other extreme events at various sites all along the east coast.

Olivia is very excited to explore the dynamic northwest coastline!
