Ginevra is an earth scientist with a background in geology and geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Washington. She has 7+ years of experience in geospatial analysis and data management, which has been gained through a lens of natural hazards research in both the federal and academic sectors. Ginevra is a co-author on three peer-reviewed publications regarding earthquake research and monitoring around the world, and she is the lead author of a paper focused on identifying evidence of active faulting in the geomorphology of glacial sediments in the Puget Sound region. Ginevra also has a range of field experience from coordinating and leading backcountry trail restoration crews in the Cascades to being a technician on ecological field monitoring crews in Alaska. She often uses scripting languages such as Python to automate frequently-applied geospatial analyses. Ginevra is excited to apply her foundational understanding of earth science and geospatial analysis to complex questions and projects in river restoration and design.
