NE 105th and 17th Street Fish Passage Restoration, Seattle, WA

After hazardous storm events damaged a pair of 42” culverts and caused adjacent slope failure, SPU hired NSD to design and oversee the reconstruction of 300 ft. of channel, stabilization of 20 ft. tall stream banks, grade control to protect two sewer lines that crossed through the project area, and large woody material structures installed by hand along an additional 600 ft. of channel.
