John has 21 years of experience specializing in stream restoration design and permitting, stakeholder facilitation, wetlands delineation and assessment of aquatic resources, resource inventory and classification, riparian and wetlands research, and natural resource permitting assistance. He has completed wetland and stream delineations in Washington, Oregon, California, and Montana. John has led the identification, design, and permitting of over 20 stream restoration projects targeting the improvement of salmonid habitats in the Pacific Northwest and has researched the effectiveness of stream bank stabilization treatments within riverine systems of the northern Rocky Mountains. He has also written numerous programmatic and project- specific biological assessments in compliance with ESA requirements, especially familiar with BPA ESA and NEPA processes.
