Kay comes from a diverse background that includes serving as a Commissioned Officer in the NOAA Corps, surveying offshore for the telecommunications industry and working in administration for a landscape construction company. She has a BS in Geology from the University of Minnesota in Duluth, Minnesota. Kay is excited to be working at Natural Systems Design and Coastal Geologic Services alongside an amazing team of geologists and engineers that share a goal of recovering fish habitat and providing flood relief through ecological connectivity and restoration of physical processes.
