Roby Ventres-Pake, BS
Environmental Scientist

Roby is a naturalist, explorer, flyfisher, banjo-player, and bicyclist whose love of river systems and experience in ecological monitoring brought him to Natural Systems Design.  At NSD he works as an environmental scientist and field monitoring technician to investigate and improve the effectiveness of salmon habitat restoration projects across the Pacific Northwest.  He is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the recovery of Pacific salmon and riparian ecosystems that sustain us.  Roby holds a BS in Environmental Science from Huxley College of the Environment at Western Washington University and also draws on experience in organic agriculture, botany, ornithology, wetland science, and riparian habitat restoration.
