Garvey Dooley, EIT
Garvey is both a river enthusiast and engineer involved in all aspects of restoration design at NSD including hydraulic analysis, field data collection, Civil 3D, GIS, CAD and HEC-RAS. Garvey worked as a land surveyor in Jackson, WY and now leads site topo surveys and field data collection at NSD. He has a B.S. in Environmental Resources Engineering from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and is passionate about ensuring the health and ecological integrity of rivers for everyone and everything to enjoy. After working in Mexico for Engineers Without Borders, Garvey’s sense of adventure brought him to the Pacific Northwest. He continues to explore the region through whitewater kayaking, hiking, biking, and foraging trips in and around the Puget Sound.
