Colin’s extensive background includes research and analysis specializing in salmonid and freshwater ecology. His expertise includes planning and leading field data collection and analysis, and spatial data (GIS) analysis and mapping. His field expertise encompasses topographic surveys, stream habitat classification, vegetation assessments, water quality sampling, fish surveys, fish rescue, field crew coordination and supervision, and protocol development. He conducts GIS analyses and mapping for geomorphology and topography, stream and forest ecology, hydrology, cartography, and habitat suitability modeling. He also performs data QA/QC and management, writes reports including analyzing and synthesizing environmental data and literature, and supports permitting and wetland assessment.
